Kiddie Rides at
Adventureland

Small tots don’t just want to sit in strollers
while their older siblings go off and ride the roller
coasters – they want to have fun, too. At Adventureland,
there’s no shortage of theme park rides for the
youngsters – Mom and Dad can even ride along on some of
them.
ATV-Go-Round
The ATV-Go-Round has various Humvee and
ATV-style cars that go around in a circle. Very basic, and just
about anyone can ride it.
Balloon Race
The Balloon Race is
another amusement parents can join their children
on. Each
containment is shaped like a hot-air balloon and resembles
something similar to a swing ride, only much more
tame.

Biplane
Each car – or rather, plane – on this
Red Baron-themed ride is a two-seater, so you can send two
tots on together. This is a mild ride that
basically just moves up and down as it progresses in a
circle.
Carousel
Most carousels are pretty much
self-explanatory. You can ride this one
with your child, and there are seats for doubles if your
tot can’t balance himself on one of the horses
yet.
Choo-Choo
Train
The Choo-Choo Train is really for anyone, but
small children will appreciate it the most. Get the lay of the land
on this little red train while deciding which rides you
want to ride, or just take a leisurely break on the train
throughout the day.

Chuck
Wagon
The Chuck Wagon is a great ride for parents to
take their small children on. It looks a little like
a miniature Ferris Wheel, only with an prairie wagon
theme for each pod. The restraints are
slightly more safe than a regular Ferris Wheel as
well.
Dinosaur
Folks of all ages can ride the Dinosaur, as the
seats are very roomy, but adults might feel a little
ridiculous.
This ride is again of the circular variation, so at this
point you might want to take a break and go find
something to eat.
Frog Hopper
Smack in the middle of Adventureland is a
not-so-kiddie ride known as the Space Shot. If your younger
kids want a taste of what their bigger siblings are
riding, they can try out the Frog Hopper. This multi-seat ride
goes up and down vertically with subtle drops and
rises. You
can accompany your child on this one if you
like.
Ladybug
The Ladybug is designed for the smallest of
children – you probably don’t need to accompany your tot
on this one.
It travels in a very slow, very small circle, so you can
have a rest while your kids have some fun.
Tea Cups
The Tea Cups are just what they sound like –
under a shady roof, a few teacups circle round and round
alone as they progress in a figure eight with the other
tea cups. A
little dizzy, but fun for anyone looking for a relatively
uneventful ride.
