Dining in and around
Atlantis
You likely didn't choose to vacation in the
Bahamas for the purpose of taking an inexpensive
jaunt, so you probably aren't expecting gourmet foods
at fast food prices.
However, in Atlantis,
everything is expensive, regardless of quality.
Eating dinner at one of the less expensive restaurants
inside the Atlantis resort can cost a family of
five $250.00 per evening, which adds up fast, I can assure
you.
But if you're finding it
difficult to stick to a modest budget for meals, we feel
your pain. Casual dining establishments with
reasonable prices are few and far between in Atlantis;
however, on our last trip, we did find a few gems in the
assortment that are worth looking
into.
Below are some of our
not-so-objective reviews about restaurants in and around
the Atlantis resort. Dig and in and enjoy!
Anthony's Bar and
Grill - Technically not on Atlantis Resort
property, but Anthony's is conveniently located across the
street from Atlantis Marina Village
Johnny
Rockets - Hip fifties
diner; comes alive each night as waiters and
waitresses get their dance on with tunes from the
fifties, sixties, and seventies
Marina
Pizzeria - Unique
pizza crust and tasty toppings with seating right
outside on the Marina terrace - what could be better
than Friday night pizza at Atlantis?
Plato's - Not exactly a
favorite, but it does the job if you're really
hungry
Village
Creamery - Haagen-Dazs
ice cream and frozen yogurt with toppings galore -
all for a pretty penny
Water's
Edge - A fantastic
breakfast restaurant in the Coral Towers of
Atlantis
