Sharks Underwater
Grille
If you're a seafood fan, you're not going to
want to miss eating dinner at Sharks Underwater Grille at
SeaWorld Orlando.
Their menu, though a little on
the pricey side (usually beginning at $20 per plate) offers
entrees such as filet mignon, shrimp, Caesar salad, shrimp
cocktail, pan-seared Merzula, and more.
I had the Sharks Trio entree when I ate there, which
consisted of buttery scallops, real tuna (not the flaky, dry
kind that comes in the can), and shrimp. This was a great
choice, because it gives you a sampling of all three as opposed
to giving you an oversize portion of just one.
There's not too much to please children here, though, so
there's a modest children's menu for the little kiddies.
They can choose from corn dogs, pasta, chicken tenders, shrimp,
or chicken breast glazed in orange sauce.
Unless your family is really picky, there is probably
something to please just about everybody here. It's a
great place to split up meals and try something off of everyone
else's plates, too.
You'll want to make sure you're seated where you can see the
enormous fish tank. We sat in the booth right next to
where some brave souls were experiencing the
underwater shark encounter. Our pre-dinner entertainment
consisted of a couple going down in a cage in SCUBA gear as the
sharks swam ominously around them. No, there were no JAWS
moments, however, so nothing here will scare the children.
