Silver Mountain
Waterpark

Northern Idaho is not necessarily known for
their mind-blowing water park selection, but if you’re visiting
the Pacific Northwest and need a slightly more interesting
place to stay than the Super 8 Motel, you might think about
checking into the Silver Mountain Resort and Waterpark in
Kellogg, Idaho.

The Flow Rider features surfs traveling up to
30 miles per hour climbing an incline of firm, blue
foam.
The ride allows all
eligible children and adults to ride the knee board
without taking surfing lessons, as this is the first step
to successfully riding the Flow Rider.
Silver Mountain
life guards offer $15.00 surfing lessons each morning for
those who want to take it up a notch and graduate from
the body board to the surf board. Lessons
are recommended, as injuries can occur if you don't
have the proper training and don't know how to fall
without harming your
head.

In addition to a children's area, Lazy River,
and tube slides, the Silver Mountain Waterpark also features
Moose Sluice, an all-family raft ride that winds through a dark
tunnel before dumping you out in wild rapids.
This is one ride you won't have to carry your
tubes up three flights of stairs for. The tubes are
elevated with conveyor belts, so you can look forward to each
ride without worrying about heaving a tube upstairs while
holding onto children as well.
